As India’s biggest apparel manufacturer, creating products for the world’s leading high-street fashion brands, Shahi knows plenty about the challenges of sustainable and ethical manufacturing. The problem was, the industry wasn’t interested in the voices of global South manufacturers. Over many years, we helped Shahi formalise an inclusive CSR and sustainability approach, build internal buy-in from leaders and factory workers, develop public-facing messaging, and create communications for global audiences. Shahi has now become a regular inclusion on industry boards, global stages, high-profile publications and in regulatory consultations, putting the voice of global South manufacturers on the agenda in international conversations.
